Well we arrived at Rye Playland, practically threw our $4 to the parking lot attendant. And found a parking space. We figured we had 20 minutes on the game clock. We soon entered this free admission park with a dicidedly art decco classic midway, to discover we were cursed with yet anohter "School day in the park" ARGH! Well the Dragon coaster LOOKS nice, but we did not have time time to endure the long line. we walked the park, noted the rides and the Racing Derby, the DDM Old Mill, the Hurricane coaster all with lines to long for us in our rushed state. After standing in what looked like a ride coupon line, to find out "I don't sell single tickets in this line" we sulked our way crying looking at the Dragon with the line too long for us to enjoy. So close and yet so far. A couple photos of the ride and a "Go Fred Church" were all we could muster. We moped out to our car, the time expired on our game clock. And if one of you was driving the Lexus that decided to park in the parking lot exit lane, I want to have some words with you. We soon drive out the entrance past a bewildred toll colector, and head to the airport.
